How to see: Book an excursion, horseback riding trip, or photo tour. You can also simply explore the south coast via rental car or with a driver.

Giverny, France – From his longtime home in Giverny, Claude Monet painted numerous oil canvasses featuring the water lilies growing in the pond on his property.

How to see: Purchase tickets to tour the gardens, choosing between independent and guided options.

Provence Lavender Fields – The lavender fields of Provence are in full, deliciously scented bloom from about mid-June to the end of July. The beautiful purple and blue hues combined with the soothing scent of lavender will be a treat for your senses.

Cherry Blossoms of Japan – Numerous locations throughout Japan boast great views of the iconic bursts of pink cherry blossoms, and a schedule is available online each year for best time to visit them. The garden is closed during the summer months, although the on-site Dubai Butterfly Garden remains open year-round.

How to see: Although you can purchase tickets at the gate, it is recommended to do so in advance. Some tour companies offer packages that include hotel transfers or a guide.
