We’re home and we’re ready to go back!!! I just wanted to tell you that everything worked out so well, thanks to you! The Handlery Union Square Hotel in San Francisco was a great location; the room was big and we all loved the shower! And everyone was so nice.
The River Terrace Inn in Napa was also in a great location. In spite of the construction that the Inn is undergoing, it never interfered with us (no noise, no dust, no not being able to get around). It’s near the Oxbow Market, which is a great place that I would definitely recommend.
We did visit some of the wineries in St. Helena, Calistoga, and Sonoma–unbelievable how beautiful the wineries are as well as the scenery. The air is so clean there, it was very green and lush, and so relaxing.
We did go on the Napa Valley Wine Train, something else I would recommend. The food was outstanding and it was such a relaxing way to see that area.
We also did a double decker tour of San Francisco at night. It was fun to see the city as the lights came on and to learn more about the history of the area.
Overall, we had a wonderful time, Bill! Thank you so much for helping make this yet another fun girls get-away.
I will definitely recommend you to anyone who is planning any kind of trip!
